Cedar Rapids, Iowa – There are various street closing operations within the east of Iowa on account of storms and floods.
The sixteenth Road Bridge can be closed over the Cedar River on Thursday, July 31, to check the flood gate. The closure is predicted to proceed, from SW Road to 2nd Road SE, in the future.
OTIS Street SE can also be closed between the doorway to Cargill South and Prairie Park Fishery on account of potential floods. This closure is meant to final about one week, or till the river ranges lower.
The southern entrance will stay to Cargill and the fisheries will stay open.
Iowa Provincial officers introduced the closure of the boat slope upon arrival on the river on Wednesday, with plans to shut it till August 5 on account of excessive river ranges.
